Advanced Workshop - Sculptural Handbuilding

This workshop is led by Francesca Antonello, a multidisciplinary artist whose practice includes ceramics, jewelry, printmaking, and photography.

Francesca brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to teaching, emphasizing technical clarity, experimentation, and creative exploration. Her instruction focuses on helping students understand process - how form, material, and intention come together at the wheel - while building confidence through repetition and guided practice.

Students can expect clear demonstrations, individualized feedback, and a supportive studio environment that encourages both refinement and personal expression.

This Advanced Workshop is designed for potters who have prior experience with handbuilding techniques and want to push beyond basic forms.

Sculptural work introduces new considerations around structure, balance, and construction. This workshop is best suited for those interested in exploring form more freely, working at larger or more complex scales, and developing a deeper understanding of how parts come together into a cohesive whole.

Cancellations are no longer eligible for credit. We simply don't have time to fill your spot for others waiting.
