Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Here's how cancellations, changes and returns work at Earth Arts Pottery Studio. This policy covers every paid class, workshop, event, party and private event, plus retail, paint-your-own pottery and gift cards.

Classes, workshops, events, parties and private events

Changed your mind? If your event is more than 7 days away, you can cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund to your original payment method. Bookings made within 7 days of the event are final.

Cancelling more than 7 days before. You'll get 50% of what you paid back as EAPS store credit. For parties and private events, you'll get 50% of your deposit as store credit.

Cancelling within 7 days, or missing your session. There's no refund or credit, but you can give your spot to someone else. They check in under your name. Just email hello@earthartspottery.com so we know to expect them.

Rescheduling. You can reschedule to another listed date of the same event, if there's space, using the reschedule link in your confirmation email (where available) more than 14 days before your session. Bookings can't be moved or credited to a different event.

If we cancel. If we ever have to cancel your session, you choose a full refund or store credit.

How to cancel or reschedule. Use the Cancel or Reschedule link in your booking confirmation email. We process every change under this policy within 48 to 72 hours.

Free table reservations (Open Studio) have no payment, so there's nothing to refund. You can cancel them anytime from your confirmation email.

Retail items

Unused items in their original condition can be returned within 14 days of purchase. You choose a refund to your original payment method or store credit. No receipt needed (we'll look up your purchase in our system), and there's no restocking fee. Final-sale and special-order items can't be returned.

Paint-your-own pottery

Not happy with your piece? We'll make it right. First, we'll give you studio credit for a free repaint, of the same piece or a different one. If you're still not happy, we'll give you a full refund.

Gift cards and store credit

Gift cards and store credit (including credit from a cancellation) never expire and have no fees. Use them for any class, workshop, event, party or purchase at any of our studios. Gift cards can't be redeemed for cash, except that we'll pay out a gift card balance under $5 in cash if you ask. Store credit can't be redeemed for cash.

Finished pottery

Please pick up finished pieces within 30 days of our ready-for-pickup notice. Shelf space is limited, so unclaimed pieces may be donated or discarded after that.
