EAPS Advanced Wheel Mini Series

Francesca Antonello is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in ceramics, jewelry, printmaking, and photography. With a BFA from Alfred University and an MA from Syracuse University, she brings both formal training and a deeply hands-on sensibility to the studio.

Francesca’s teaching emphasizes technical clarity and creative exploration — helping students understand how form, material, and intention come together at the wheel. Her approach balances structured demonstration with individualized feedback, meeting each student where they are and pushing them further.

Expect clear guidance, honest critique, and a studio environment built around focus and growth.

This workshop is designed for potters who are comfortable centering, pulling walls, and shaping basic forms on the wheel — and ready to go further.

If you can throw a solid cylinder or bowl with relative consistency, this is the right next step. Advanced Wheel focuses on refining technique, expanding your range of forms, and developing the kind of control that comes from repetition with intention.

Over three sessions, you'll focus on expanding your skills and strengthening the fundamentals that support more complex work:

Refining centering and wall control for greater consistency

Throwing taller, wider, and more varied forms with confidence

Shaping intentional profiles — learning to control curve, proportion, and silhouette

Exploring collaring, necking, and enclosed forms

Trimming with precision for balanced, well-finished pieces

Each session builds on the previous one. Instruction includes live demonstration, guided repetition, and one-on-one feedback tailored to your individual goals.

2+ Weeks Before Your Service
You have full flexibility. Try to reschedule to a different date—your full booking value transfers with no penalty. If no dates are available, cancel instead and you'll receive a full studio credit to use toward any future service.

1–2 Weeks Before Your Service
Rescheduling is no longer available, but you can still cancel and receive a 50% studio credit toward any future service.

Less Than 1 Week Before Your Service
Cancellations are no longer eligible for credit. We simply don't have time to fill your spot for others waiting.
